How to support MICYA.

MICYA is a registered charity. The details below can be checked on two Australian Government registers, and donations are not tax deductible.

MICYA is at an early stage.

There is no building yet, no opening day and no annual report. The organisation is registered and the work is at the beginning.

Support at this stage goes towards establishing the centre rather than running it.

What your support goes towards

Establishing a permanent community centre in Merrylands for young people and adults. No budget has been confirmed, so no breakdown is published.

MICYA cannot take donations through this website yet.

There is no card payment and no bank transfer set up here. MICYA has not chosen how it wants to receive donations, and this site will not collect money on the organisation’s behalf until it has.

If you want to give, send a message and MICYA can arrange it with you directly. That is a slower route than a donate button, and it is the only one that currently reaches the organisation.

Are donations tax deductible?: No. MICYA is a registered charity and is endorsed for GST concession and income tax exemption, but it is not endorsed as a Deductible Gift Recipient. A gift to MICYA cannot be claimed as a deduction on your tax return. You can confirm this yourself on ABN Lookup.
Can I give online right now?: No. MICYA has not chosen a donation provider, so there is no way to pay through this website. Send a message and the organisation will arrange it with you directly.
What will my donation be used for?: Towards establishing a permanent community centre in Merrylands. No budget has been confirmed, so none is published here.
Is there a fundraising target?: None has been confirmed for publication.
